September 27

I am never alone. I am NEVER alone. I am N.E.V.E.R  alone! I could repeat that over and over. I should repeat that over and over. I think of Psalm 27:1- “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

I think of Matthew 28:20: “I will be with you till the end of the age.”

How about the words of Moses in Deut.31? “The Lord your God Himself will go before you. He will destroy these nations before you…Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave or forsake you.” (verses 3,6)

The promise God made then is still in effect today. He goes with me. That’s a game-changer for me. I’m not alone. I’m NEVER alone. God never leaves me to fend for myself. There’s an old saying, “Where God guides, God provides.” Most importantly: He gives Himself. It’s not a hand-off of a football to a running back and saying, “Here. Run with it.” No. I see it as more of a hand-off with Him running interference with me. Not for me. With me. He and I are joined together forever. FOREVER.

“Father, thank you that when you ask me to do something I am NEVER alone doing it. You go with me. I have nothing to fear.”

  1. I have a Christian T-shirt with that phrase: “Where God guides, God provides.” Such a wonderful reminder each time I wear it!
    Blessings, Bill!
