I think probably everyone has seen one of those COEXIST signs/widow stickers/decals. Perhaps you are wondering what they mean. I could tell you to come Sunday, but that sounds a bit like blackmail. 🙂 In all seriousness, the symbols stand for a specific belief system with the whole idea that we should be tolerant and accepting of all no matter what.Â
I CAN’T DO THAT! I WON’T DO THAT!Â
Not when I have a Scripture like the one I am preaching on Sunday: “And Jesus said to them, ‘I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father but by me.'” The idea of harmony and getting along sounds good, but it will never happen. A sign on a local business says, “We are all in this together,” but I guarantee that if I disagree with his LGBTQ+ stand (which I most certainly do) the cooperation would stop. He wants tolerance, but will quickly become intolerant of my Christian worldview (and has expressed that).Â
I will not apologize for standing with Jesus on this. He did not say He was A way, A truth, and A life. He said, “I AM THE way, THE truth, and THE life.” I will probe that I AM statement this week. I invite you to join us at 9 and 10:45. If you can’t be here in person, please join us online via our livestream. Please join us online at YouTube (Owen Valley Christian Fellowship) or on our Facebook page (Owen Valley Christian Fellowship-Spencer, IN).

Isn’t it crazy that those who profess to be tolerant of others never are. I’ve seen those bumper stickers, too, Bill, and you’ve nailed it when it comes to the person behind the wheel. Tolerance is not in their vocabulary. Jesus is the only Way, Truth and Life. Blessings!
It does tell a lot about the driver Martha. I know one who probably doesn’t know, because she is special needs. But for the most part people are naive. But i most certainly agree on Jesus!
I hardly see such bumper stickers/decals. Either that, or I just don’t notice them. I’m more concerned about keeping the speed limit and obeying green/red lights as well as the occasional.. one in a blue moon, blue light. And I’m not talking about Kmart! 😮
Man, they are all over around here. Course we live near Bloomington, a big college town and very liberal & multicultural city. And yes, avoid seeing that blue light in the rearview mirror.
