That was a quote I read yesterday as I make my way through Vaneetha Risner’s book, Watching for the Morning. Then I wrote this in my journal: “It’s hard to see that at the time, but it is a truth I’m going to cling to today, tomorrow, and all the way through. My Be Strong and Courageous words will now come home to me.” Come back here tomorrow to see why I say that. In the meantime, I am posting a song that has rocked my world. Beautiful song, I love the words in that song. I feel like music can be a helpful resource to help us sort out our feelings, and to help us communicate sometimes the words we cannot find. Songs can help us praise God, when our hearts are broken and our circumstances are overwhelming us. Father may we continue to praise and worship You, and to know that clinging to Your vine is where our hope and faith can be held when our strength is weak.
I feel the same way Gail. Music often expresses my deepest thoughts when I can’t, and it also helps draw me to the Father.
