Something to think about:
When God puts His own people into the furnace, He keeps His eye on the clock and His hand on the thermostat. He knows how long and how much. (Warren Wiersbe quoted in Anger: Calming Your Heart by Robert D. Jones- pp.17-18)
I suspect the most common question asked is, “Why?” On the heels of that just might be the second most asked question: “How long?” That quote by Wiersebe touches on both of those questions. Clock and thermostat. He knows how long and how much.
Like most people I would prefer smooth sailing, or at least when trouble comes to be given an end date. But God doesn’t operate that way. Bummer! 🙂 However, it is reassuring-even though I don’t understand-that God has His hand on the pulse of the situation and on my pulse as well.
Will I trust the All-Wise and All-Knowing God to handle the situation or will I get belligerent and impatient?

I think we both know that answer, Bill. There’s nothing to do but place our trust fully and completely in the One who has the whole world in His hands.
Blessings!
Correct Martha. I know I need to do that more easily.
